Bodhana, 5,138m
New Route

Ukrainians Alexander Khomenko, Alexander Lavrinenko, Maxim Polyakov and Taras Tsushko climbed a new big wall route - Odessa Route (1,188m vertical interval - Russian precision, Russian 6B, UIAA VI and A4, 70-75° ice) - on the West Face of Bodhana in the Fanskiy Gory.  The completed the ascent semi-alpine-style over eight days (the first six pitches were fixed over the first two days).

New Route

At same time as the above ascent Belorussian Alexander Maximanja soloed a new line to the right of the Odessa Route over nine days (Russian 6A, F6c and A4). Immediately prior to this both teams had put up new routes on the neighbouring Parandas (4,250m) at similar grades.
